Hello people!!
Today's post is about the best invention ever: afternoon tea!
We like so much this, could go every day! Sometimes we decided and just go or we buy at Groupon and booked in advance. There are a couple of differences.. If you buy full price is obviously more expensive but they keeping bring food - we call refreshments - every time that your plate is empty. In the other hand if you buy in those websites like Groupon you pay a much cheaper price, but no refreshments.
We already use both alternatives and we liked equal. And just to be clear, the service is the same, people are friendly all the times, no distinction.
So, this time, we bought at Groupon a voucher for a afternoon tea at Vertigo 42, near to Bank station in London.
The best part? The London landscape!!!

This view was from our table but the place face others parts of the city as well.
Also some places, like Vertigo 42, offer a fancy sparkling drink when you buy a voucher.

Our afternoon was lovely!

This afternoon tea had a traditional variety of sandwiches (cucumber, salmon, ham), two passion fruit tarts, two salted caramel and chocolate tarts and two plain scones with jam and cream. For drink, two caffé lattes.

The food was simple but very good! The sandwiches were fresh and moist. Despite the tarts were very simple, sometimes simple is enough and the tarts were delicious. The scones are always a good choice, loved it! Only the coffee was a bit stronger than we prefer.
Guys, the visit worth, to enjoyed the food and the view.
Hope you liked :)
Kisses and cakes!
