On of the most beautiful, fourth level store at Piccadilly street in central London. For the celebration days, like Christmas or Easter the window's are made carefully and stunning for the costumers be delighted! On the basement floor are the wines and alcoholic drinks, meat, fruits and veggies. On the first floor you can find all the big tea selection, chocolates, dried fruits, porcelain, pans e kitchen stuff. The following two floors are male and female with clothes, perfumes, purses and much more!
It's possible go to the fourth floor - our goal - by stairs and appreciate all the paintings, the carpet and the street by the window or by wooden old fashion lift. As you got there you gonna be amuse for the gorgeous tables and porcelain for the perfect afternoon tea, with a live piano song on the background!!!!!!
For the afternoon tea, you can chose a vegetarian one, classic or some fancy options with champagne... I went for a classic one. For £45 you can eat as much as you want and chose tea from a wonderful selection!
Not enough for you? You can ask the same "tower" over and over again until you belly explode!! :)))
The sandwich selection were AMAZING! From a mix of egg with mustard, cucumber and cheese, ham, until the perfect salmon sandwich. The scones were lovely, the right consistency between crumbly and moist, to go with raspberry, blueberry or strawberry jams, lemon curd and cream. On the top, some individual, elegant and delicious cakes.
The top left one was a chocolate delight, with chocolate mousse and cherry. The second one was a half macaron with passion fruit cream and coconut: delicious! The third, was a caramel filled choux pastry. The last and also my favorite one, cheesecake ball!!!
If still wasn"t enough - which I doubt - there is a table, located on the middle of the place with more five different cakes, like battemberg, chocolate cake, bakewell tart, banana loaf and victoria sponge, and ask the waiter to cut a slice for you :)
So guys, if you are in London, or if you will came, go and treat yourself in this amazing afternoon tea. Absolutely fantastic!!!!
