Hi folks! We are back to London!
Keeping our adventures for different bakeries and coffee shops we now arrived at E5 Bakehouse, a famous artisan bakery in East London. I have been there twice and lots of people love the place, special on saturdays, the busiest day there. They do most artisan breads and cakes as carrot cake, bakewell, muffins, cookies, buns and choux pastries.
We were lucky, got there in a sunny saturday for a nice brunch. The place, was full of people inside and outside - to enjoy the beautiful sun :)

We only chose sweets, but they also do sandwiches as savories and serve breakfast with eggs or yogurt and granola. Nice selection of food!
Our choice was two amazing lattes, one choux bun with caramel filling, seasonal fruit tart, peanut butter cookie and a custard tart.
As I just said, the lattes were amazing! Very nice finished, hot enough, good taste. The caramel choux bun was nice, but for me the caramel filling was too sweet. The seasonal fruit tart, was filled with pear and the whole combination was fantastic! About the cookie, I could felt the peanut and that's it. Maybe next time I will try something more exciting. The custard tart was excellent! Like a crème brûlée with some fruit jam in the bottom!
The place is located at an arch under the rail, simple, rustic but welcoming. Overall the place is nice, the food amazing and local people love!
See you on the next post!
Kisses and cakes!
:)
