Last easter we decided do something differente and have fun to remember our childhood. With some friends we started our jorney visiting the Stonehenge in a very cold and rainy weather - not very smart. The stones are in the middle of nowhere, lots of green land.. memorable! When arrived, we parked the car and bought the tickes including the bus to visit the Stonehenge. They also have a gift store and a café there.

Next stop was Warwick, a samll old town, very charming with a big castle! The small gate hide a huge land with river, trees, and a beutiful castle. They present different shows, including birds that living there and old tools demostration, that were used to help the Lords defend themselves hundreds years ago. Interesting and very entertaining!!

We also found a Warwick Historic Tearoom at The Lord Leycester Hospital Historic House, very charming with all the old details and porcelain.

They have a great variety of layer cakes like Victoria sponge, red velvet cake and many others, but we just had breakfast at the hotel, so we choose a cheese scone served with butter, a chocolate cookie, a hot chocolate and because was easter, they gave to us some easter chocolate eggs :) The price was really nice and the food very good! It's a place to visit for sure!

To finish our short holiday, we were very excited to visit... the Cadbury Chocolate Factory!

The place is huge with the biggest Cadbury chocolate store and a café. We booked the visit a few weeks before go, so when we arrived, just shown the tikes and you could joined the queue for the time we booked for. When you start the tour, they give you three diferent chocolates, then you start passing for a kind of walking jungle with explanation where the cacao came from, then a video explaining how Cadbury starts the business, than you can watch the people working at the factory, eat more chocolate, another tour with tematics explanations for kids and a 4D experience. To be honest was nice but disappointing because I expected to see the factory indeed, see all the production, packaging and in the end is more a ludic explanation for kids.

Have you visit any of these places? Leave your comment below. Thanks for follow us :)

Kiss and cakes!!!
