Armbruster in Germany

Hmmmmm, Germany! When I close my eyes I can smell the fresh baked pretzels, breads and cakes, love it!! I have been in Germany a few times and every single time is special, with lovely cakes and coffees to make myself even hapier. Last time was in october 2015 when we went to Europa Park in Rust - which I definitely recomend. We stay in a hotel in Offenburg where we could enjoy a amazing german breakfast. Very close to the hotel and also in some train stations, we can find Armbruster, a chain bakery that sells breads, cakes, pastries, sandwiches and coffees. Every time that we have been there, we were very friendly served, the food was fresh and very tasty and also the price was a positive score ;)

I really appreciate the coffees in Armbruster, they are not so strong, they have more milk in and are hot enough. When you see the counter, are so many choices, but we went the first day for a plain cheesecake, a bacon and cheese pretzel and two lattes. The cheesecake was very similar with the New York cheesecake, not so sweet, moist and fresh. The pretzel was really nice, crunch outside topped with bacon and cheese and warm up before been served.

The second time we also chose a pretzel but plain at this time, a blueberry cheesecake, a layer cake and of course, two lattes! Pretzels are amazing even plain, with sea salt sprinkled on top..Hmmmm.. very good! We also loved all the different flavors of cheesecake, so we tried the blueberry one and we didn´t regrated! The layer cake was consisted of two layer of thin white sponge, three layers of crème pâtissière topped with fresh fruits: absolutelydelicious!
