Hello people :))
Have you been to Oxford? I have to tell you, if you have the opportunity, don't miss it!
This city is amazing! It is quite small, so you can walk around , visit the universities, old buildings, pubs, walk through the lanes and of course visit the coffee shops!
We went by train, more or less one hour from London, walked from the station until we arrived in the city center which is not so far away, especially if you enjoy exploring new places. On the way there you can appreciate small local shops, tradicional houses, and a nostagical view. Near to one of the universities there is a river canal where you can go punting. Also if you are lucky to find a table, you can have a traditional English Sunday roast at a very old and amazing pub in one of the narrow lanes. Me, I was homesick and enjoyed a traditional lunch from my OWN country! There is a Brazilian restaurant right at the Oxford Saxon Tower entrance (you can go to the top of the tower, I strongly recommend). The owner comes from the Brazilian state as we do and we found lots of Brazilians having lunch as well. The food is great and the people very friendly. And to finish a lovely day in a beatiful and historical city, nothing better than having a cake and coffee in the first coffee house in England: The Grand Café opened in 1650!!! To get a table you must join the queue as the place is small but very fancy. They serve a tradicional afternoon tea, or you can choose cakes from the menu. I had a blueberry cheesecake that I have already fallen in love when I looked at the window of the shop along with a caffe latte... lovely combination!
If you had any experiences like this in Oxford, please share with me in the comments!

Kisses and cakes!
